The origins of Infinite Island date back to 2018. The organisation was formally incorporated as Infinite Island Limited on 20 September 2021 and is registered in the United Kingdom as a private limited company (Company No. 13631614).

 

Infinite Island is a mission-led organisation established to advance a non-profit cultural and educational purpose. Under its present structure, statutory governance is exercised by its Director in accordance with applicable UK company law and the company’s Articles of Association.

Adam Qi

Founder & Executive Director

 

Adam Qi is the Founder and current Director of Infinite Island. He holds statutory responsibility for the company’s legal compliance, financial oversight and accountability, while leading the organisation’s strategic, curatorial and institutional development.

 

With a background in brand strategy and curation, animation and communication design, Adam works across culture, education and technology to advance Infinite Island’s development as a future museum and mission-led cultural organisation.

As Infinite Island develops towards a foundation model, it intends to formalise the Guardian role through its governing documents and appoint independent non-executive directors to establish a Board of Directors.
