Serendipity: Embracing the invisible connections

This art exhibition challenges our understanding of the purpose of life. We extend an invitation to the audience: observe and reflect — what is the meaning of existence? What kinds of connections do we form with our surrounding environment? How could we fulfil its most value? And how does it reflect our inner growth after all? Yuchen’s artwork stems from his active observation, reflection, and practice during his studies in London. Using recycled materials and architectural textures as medium, his creations are subtle yet evocative, exuding an unadorned simplicity infused with remarkable tension. They embody his deep respect for the environment, his ability to actively embrace the present moment, and his naturally fluid creative state. This philosophy resonates deeply with the core values of Infinite Island Future Museums, which emphasize inner growth, environmental consciousness and sustainable development. The work’s multi-layered narratives and interactive nature offer the potential for deep integration into the museum’s thematic storytelling, enriching the diversity of our collection, expanding audience engagement, and opening new possibilities for future research and development.

The exhibition is situated at the junction between the Infinite Island Future Mobility District and the horizon where sea meets sky. Six sculptural installations, minimalist urban elements, authentic materials, and shifting light and shadow come together to create a contemplative environment. Both the viewers and the characters within the works become part of the narrative, weaving together a temporal landscape of stillness, gaze, and movement. Through a three-dimensional and audiovisual immersive experience, visitors are invited to step into the scene, freely interact, and explore.
