Our Philosophy
The infinite begins within.
We believe life is the most precious force in the universe, and that every person carries an inherent capacity to grow and create. By meeting nature with reverence, taking responsibility for our freedom and remaining grounded in the present, we can deepen wisdom, transform the way we live and contribute to a more sustainable and civilised future.
Reverence and Gratitude
The relationship between humanity and the universe is like that between a drop of water and the ocean. The laws and forces at work belong to the universe; they have never belonged to any individual. Control and possession only become burdens. The universe is infinitely vast, while human beings are finite. Remaining humble and unassuming before the universe and nature is a form of self-redemption. We are grateful for nature’s gifts: for humanity’s existence, and for the opportunity to make wise use of what is given and act in harmony with its course. In truth, it is enough simply to immerse ourselves in, feel, appreciate, and marvel at this freedom and joy.
Power of Life
Life force is the most precious power in the universe. Without life, the universe would be a wasteland—not even a wasteland, in fact, for there would be no one to witness it. Life is inherently perfect: equal and without distinction, and endowed with infinite potential and creativity. To nurture creativity is simply to keep it from being stifled. True confidence comes from trusting our original nature.
Freedom
True freedom is unconditional. It depends on nothing external and requires neither wealth nor fame. When we take complete responsibility for our own lives and become their sole cause, we become the true masters of our lives.
Grounded at Present
Changing our destiny and opening up the future require us to build upon the past and, more importantly, to create the present. This calls for focus, active observation of reality, and reflection. Reality is truth; to contemplate reality is to contemplate truth.
Sustainable Growth
The meaning of life lies in growth—the maturation of character, the transformation of habits, the deepening of wisdom, and, with civilisation as our direction, holistic progress and sustainable development. It also lies in actively taking responsibility for helping others grow.
