INFINITE ISLAND ART FESTIVAL
WHAT WE DO?
Founded by Infinite Island in 2022, we share a love for the fine art and a mission to connect and enlighten people through the universal language of digital and interactive experiences. Therefore, we have developed a circular strategic model together, to exhibit, promote and continuously invest in the future of art.
Infinite Island Foundation is organizing the world most innovative and creative art festival in 2024. Every year, the festival enriches the field of fine art, by issuing an open call for new talent and established artists from all around the world.
During the festival the artworks inspiring the world and visitors. After the festival period, a selection of the most impressive artworks is included in our ever-growing collection. We preserve, document, and internationally exhibit them all over the world.
FESTIVAL PERIOD
Every year a new edition of Infinite Island Art Festival is organised, with artworks that are created especially for the festival. Next to that, in collaboration with artists, partners and various stakeholders, the festival organises special projects. Take for instance the education project (in which we aim for 15,000 primary school students to take part), which is be coming a part of every edition for every years. Next to that, we organize special evenings and experiences for senior visitors and other vulnerable groups.
YEAR-ROUND
Next to the yearly occurring festival, the foundation actively aims to spread the ideas. This takes place in several ways:
Permanent installation - Some of the artworks of the collection will received a permanent spot on Infinite Island virtual world and in the Physical world. From the London and Shanghai city, there is a bit of interactive art festival to be found all over the world. The map below shows an overview of the different artworks and their locations. Did you know that, next to our artworks, there is a lot of interactive art to be found in the city?
Advice & Inspiration
With over a decade of experience we like to share our knowledge about the discipline of digital interactive art. The development, placement and ways to experience interactive art is a unique undertaking. We are motivated and enthusiastic to give advice about developing new works for special topics, occasions or locations, to placing an artwork with relation to the digital realm or its (urban) environment and linking them to contemporary issues. Furthermore, we can share our experience with audiences via guest lectures or presentations.
International
We will not let the artworks lose their shine after the festival, by storing them away in the cloud and warehouses. Instead, many of the interactive artworks will become part of an internationally travelling collection. This collection is managed by Museum of The Future Arts (MOTFA) and The Future Art Collection; the team makes sure that the artworks can interactive with cities from all over the world. As of today, the works is prepared to travel all over the world, digitally that open to all, and physically from London to Hongkong and Shanghai.
