About DazzleType X Infinite Island
"DazzleType X Infinite Island" is a collaborative collection between Peter Smith and Infinite Island, incorporating Smith's DazzleType alphabet system — a bold typographic design based on a 6x6 grid that explores the boundaries of legibility and message.
The works inspire awe and contemplation, while also serving as a call to action, urging viewers to go beyond the present, to feel the light that illuminates the path ahead, to think about the potential of the future, and to imagine the limitless possibilities of future civilization. As a contemporary art collection, it creates an narrative that encourages viewers to envision, imagine, and strive for a brighter future. It is also a celebration of human creativity and artistic collaboration, and an open invitation to embrace the limitless possibilities of the future.
The messages in the artworks encompass the concept of infinity, selflessness, inclusivity, positivity, diversity, equality and sustainability, and actively reflect on it. As the purpose of Infinte Island is to advocate following the natural course and applying resources wisely, living nobly and independently in every moment, uniting as a community of shared destiny, and achieving sustainable development from within.
